If you think geo-cashing is fun, you should try Korean inactive member finding. It will put to shame any previous treasure hunting activity you've ever done.
Step one- Go through all your crummy old records and decide that they're useless and that something new needs to be done.
Step two- Get a member to download google earth for you and have them put it on the church computer. (It is important that you get the member to download it because the only web sights a missionary is allowed on are church sights.)
Step three- Learn to type in Korean. 좋습니다!!!
Step four- Put all of those useless old records onto google earth.
Step five- Take a picture of an area you want to visit.
Step six- Go out and find them!
This game is so fun that you might find yourself doing it all week. At least I have. It's actually been really good. We have found a couple really good inactive members that we should be able to start teaching. Hopefully we will be able to get them out to church.
As always we've been spending a lot of time on the street or helping out the Branch members with church maintenance. In a small branch like 괴정 the missionaries are more than just valued, their necessary. It's been really good to serve here.
