Ward party

It's been a busy week for me. We've hit the area hard an been pulling out some new investigators. Most promising is the building guard for our appartment complex. He's a really nice middle aged man that we see each time we come from or go to our appartment. We were throwing away some boxes earlier this week and took the opportunity to give him a book of Mormon. His name is Namkoong Son by the way. He thanked us and told us to come by some time when he wasn't busy and explain this "mormon bible" to him. Last night we met him and taught the restoration. He expressed similar thoughts to Joseph Smith in that, there are lots of different churches and they all have different practices and belief even though they use the same bible. He also has the belief that he can find answers in the bible. We taught him about the priesthood and the apostasy. He accepted everything that we taught. He told us how he was a college professor for most of his life. He recently switched carreers because he felt that though most of the other professors liked teaching but not actually solving the problems of the world. He told us that when he knows the Book of Mormon is true that he would be baptised.

Another investigator is Beck Sangsoo. He and his elementary school son wanted to attend our english class but felt that it was a little boring for kids. We meet them separately and for thirty minutes teach English to his son (Jisong) and then do a lesson. Though not as promising as Namkoong Son, he did say that when he knew that our church was true he would be baptised.

Another big part of my week was the two exchanges that I went on. Being the zone leaders, Elder Oh and I get to conduct exchanges with district leaders and other missionaries who need help in our zone. This week I was on junior companion duty and got to go with two great greenies. I had a really fun time and got to see some new areas. Both of the missionaries that I went with are stellar.

This Saturday evening we had a big ward party. It was really fun!
