Lifting each other

Another busy week.

We had a zone conference on Wednesday. Fortunately I only had to prepare a short testimony and an activity. Not too much. The topic of the conference was repentance. It was really cool to hear all of the different thoughts from our mission president and APs about repentance. It is a topic in the gospel that I thought that I knew a lot about but that I continue to learn more. Teaching repentance is the purpose of missionary work. It is what brings people unto Christ. The most important thing an investigator can do is repent, be baptized and commit to endure to the end.

After the conference I went to another area in my zone to work with a missionary who has been having a hard time lately. This missionary is a Korean who was in the MTC with me. We were pretty close and had actually served in the same area in different teams for a transfer. When I met him I could tell that he was pretty down on himself. He and his companion have not been pushing each other to work and the result is a spiritual lull that I could feel from the start.

On the exchange we went out and worked hard. He seemed to lighten up the more we talked to people. I hope he will continue to keep his light as he goes through the rest of the transfer.

Other things this week. We met a man who runs a drive in theater. He really liked us and we will be seeing him tomorrow for the first lesson. We have also had some other investigators pop up all of a sudden. Another fantastic thing is that our ward mission leader made a ward mission plan that seems great. He's really nice to work with.

I love being a missionary!

Until next week
안녕히 계세요!
